THE ROOM.
Soaring white sails shade 228 lavishly appointed rooms and suites which are spread across its grounds. Mirroring its surrounds, each of the rooms are decorated using neutral, ochre-coloured tones with touches of Indigenous artwork.

Hot and dry throughout much of the year, the sparkling swimming pool lined with lush gumtrees in the centre of the resort is an ideal place to retreat to cool off. Beyond this, the resort’s stunning Mulgara Gallery and Red Ochre Spa are worth checking out.

Ilkari takes its name from the local Pitjantjatjara word for sky. Ilkari establishes its dining philosophy in the natural flavours of the finest produce available under the Australian sun. Taking on the Pitjantjatjara name for wind, Walpa Lobby Bar instead provides a sense that your journey is complete – a sense of arrival. A relaxed setting for coffee and cake, casual lunch or snacks, a pre-dinner drink or night cap after a sunset tour, Walpa Lobby Bar is contemporary and welcoming. The menu features a delicious selection of classic burgers, sandwiches, garden-fresh salads, and light meals, signature cocktails infused with native ingredients, and an extensive wine list.
