Manly Pacific

Following an extensive renovation and rebrand, the iconic Manly Pacific, originally opened in the early 1900’s as Hotel Pacific, has never looked better. With the hotel decked out with the help of Australian designers Coco Republic, the hotel’s interiors exude a warm, inviting, and incredibly stylish aesthetic that can be described as ‘contemporary coastal chic’, which aptly matches its beachfront location.

THE ROOM.

Keeping with the same coastal chic aesthetic of the rest of the property, all of the rooms and suites are light and airy, with light oak timbers and soft neutral tones and an overall minimalist design. The hotel offers a selection of room types, the major difference being the outlook - the neighborhood of Manly or the Pacific Ocean. We stayed in The Explorer room.

AMENITIES.

Whether it’s reading a book whilst basking in the sun or cooling down with a poolside cocktail in hand, the hotel’s refreshed rooftop pool and sundeck is an incredible place to relax with a unique vista of Manly Beach and all of its surroundings.

DINING.

BISTRO MANLY

With Manly Beach as its backdrop, Bistro Manly offers refined dining with an accent of French flair with its menu focusing on local seafood, bistro classics and fresh seasonal produce, along with complementing wines sourced from both Australia and France.

TOKYO JOE

Tokyo Joe is the hotel’s other main eatery, also beachfront. Helmed by ex-Nobu Sydney Chef – Marcelino Elamparo Papio Jr – Tokyo Joe’s menu offers a selection of sushi, delicately-cut sashimi, steamed buns and delicious mains, combining the finest ingredients with traditional Japanese umami flavours.

55 NORTH

55 North is Manly’s newest bar showcasing an eclectic space featuring a rich array of crafted elements. With its arched reliefs highlighted by timber veneers and paved autumnal marble and tiles throughout, the bar creates an approachable yet striking backdrop for some ocean-gazing. Inspired by the local spirit of the Northern Beaches, the innovative cocktail menu includes a twist on the classics, featuring the best of the region, and beyond.
