Like the nine other SO/ Hotels & Resorts scattered across the globe, SO/ Auckland has been created with the new-aged discerning, stylish traveler in mind, with the hotel’s design a collaboration between Dutch interior designer Moooi and New Zealand fashion house, WORLD.

THE ROOM.

Contemporary, playful, and effortlessly cool, just like the rest of the hotel, each of SO/ Auckland’s 130 spacious, designer rooms and suites are an escape from the ordinary, complete with modern tech, comfy beds, beautiful city and/or Waitemata Harbour views, Maraca New Zealand bath products, and a complimentary alcohol-free mini-bar. The colour and aesthetic of each room and suite is themed around vapour, liquid, and solid, and each carries an emblem on the wall designed by WORLD’s signature designer.

AMENITIES.

Tucked away on the hotel’s second floor, guests will discover Club Signature, a space for Club guests to gather and savour a rotating selection of sweet and savoury morsels along with evening drinks.

An indoor oasis, guests have access to the hotel’s wellness centre, complete with a 20-meter luxury, heated lap pool, jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, SO/FIT gymnasium and luxurious SO/ Spa.

DINING.

HARBOUR SOCIETY

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, Harbour Society is SO/ Auckland’s signature restaurant with incredible city and harbour views. A modern interpretation of traditional Asian flavours, the restaurant’s ever-evolving menu is a contemporary chorus of flavourful and fresh dishes, with an emphasis on sustainability and seasonality.

HI-SO BAR

Occupying the hotel’s top-floor on Level 16, HI-SO Bar is the place to be and be seen in Auckland. Striking the perfect balance between playfulness and luxury, HI-SO Bar is where those in the know gather for a sublime cocktail (or two) with an incredible panoramic view of Auckland, especially popular at sunset when the city transforms from day to night.

MIXO BAR

Down in the lobby, a stylish bar, a creative cocktail artist, and a decadent, vibrant atmosphere awaits.

JAVALAB CAFE

A slice of Paris in the heart of inner-city Auckland, Javalab is the hotel’s ground-floor Parisian-inspired cafe where you’ll find a pastry fridge overflowing with contemporary French treats and freshly hand-roasted, organic Hummingbird Coffee to go with.
