Hotel St Moritz Queenstown
Its central location, a short stroll from the main town of Queenstown, coupled with its incredible unobstructed views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables makes Hotel St Moritz the ideal base to explore this idyllic part of New Zealand.
THE ROOM.
With a year-round cool climate, similar to the rest of the hotel, all the rooms and suites have been designed to feel cosy and a like a luxurious oasis, with bright, warm colours used throughout and appointed with a cocooning alpine vibe. During our stay we opted for a St Moritz Guest Room which featured not only gorgoeus views of Lake Wakatipu but a juliet balcony, which I higly recommend to be able to make the most of the hotel’s views.
AMENITIES.
It is much too cold for swimming in Queenstown (for most anyway), that’s why instead the hotel offers guests access to their on-site Hot Tub Garden, comprising a set of inviting hot tubs set amongst the greenery with mountain views.
DINING.
With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Wakatipu, it’s all about the view at the hotel’s Lombardi Restaurant & Bar, open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
