Although less than a 90-minute drive away from Central London, the stately Fairmont Windsor Park, surrounded by 40 acres of pristine open green space, feels like a world away. Overlooking the south lawn, 1215 bar is located adjacent to 1215 restaurant and offers a relaxed drinking experience with an extensive drinks list along with a selection of complementary bar food.
Home to cherished fixtures from the previous mansion house, such as an ornate, grand open fireplace and library bookcase filled with lovingly preserved original editions, this stunning lounge is designed for daytime meetings, coffee and papers, and private events, whilst in the evening, is a cosy space to enjoy cocktails, whiskies, and brandies.
The hotel’s signature fine-dining restaurant, 1215 is an intimate and beautiful setting ideal for a special occasion or simply experience quality British cuisine. The restaurant was named in recognition of the signing of the Magna Carta in the year 1215, signed only a short walk from the hotel in the historic grounds of Runnymede.
A trip to the English countryside simply would not be complete without a spot of afternoon tea, and the hotel’s vibrant yet calming Orchid Tea Room makes for the perfect setting. The room was inspired by the original owners of the mansion house who collected orchids from around the world and displayed them in this room.
