Reef View Hotel
Located directly opposite Catseye Beach and with Hamilton Island’s wide range of restaurants and activities on its doorstep, the Reef View Hotel is an ideal base for a relaxing island getaway.
THE ROOM.
With all 363 rooms facing the beach and all boasting spacious private balconies, it really is all about enjoying the view. With this in mind, it is well worth upgrading to one of the Coral Sea View Rooms which occupy floors five to eighteen and guarantee spectacular views over the tropical Whitsunday Islands.
Our room was bright and extremely spacious, featuring two queen-sized beds and a generously sized bathroom complete with a bath. Whilst the room did feel a little sparse and could use with an injection of colour, like us you’re unlikely to spend much time in the room when gorgeous pools and a beautiful beach await. Plus, the view certainly did not disappoint!
AMENITIES.
Hamilton Island is home to a number of pools accessible to all, however the Reef View Hotel’s stunning 35-metre swimming pool is exclusive to hotel guests. Beyond the pool, all guests have use of catamarans, windsurfers, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkeling equipment, the Island Shuttle which travels the island, the gym, spa, sauna and tennis court. Plus, included in your room rate are return airport or marina shuttle bus transfers.
DINING.
Overlooking the idyllic pool is the property’s signature restaurant, the Pool Terrace Restaurant. Like much of the island, the restaurant offers laid-back, casual dining where you can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the morning, a light lunch or à la carte dinner.
